This was livestreamed on my Twitch channel back on 8/24/22! This chicken dish is simple, but so tasty and full of flavor! This is a good dish to make if you would like to try and impress someone. I ended up serving it the a homemade pesto risotto. I will have both the pesto and risotto recipes posted separately. You will see the same picture for all three recipes, though. I had no clue I would have a blog and didn't take pictures separately.

Chicken Wrapped in Prosciutto with Sage
Ingredients:
3 each Chicken Breast Cutlets
3 Slices of Prosciutto (I used San Daniele)
6 each Fresh Sage Leaves
Salt and Pepper to taste
Method of Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper.
Add 2 sage leaves to the top of the chicken breast after you season it.
Wrap the chicken with the prosciutto. You can do this however you like!
Using a non-stick pan oven safe pan, add a bit of oil if needed, warm the pan until on medium high heat.
When the pan is ready, add the chicken wrapped with prosciutto to the pan, top or presentation side first! Cook until the prosciutto starts to crisp up, then flip it.
Place the pan with the chicken in it into the oven until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
Enjoy it as is or serve it with the pesto risotto like I did! See the pesto risotto recipe for more!
Possible garnishes:
Freshly grated parmesan
Use any extra prosciutto to make crisps
Fresh basil
Pesto
A squeeze of lemon
Roasted tomatoes
Or anything else tasty
